On our cycle tour and first stop after a 30 mile cycle. Got here to find 4 caravans, and 3 extremely friendly welcoming men Can only remember the name of one man - Colin. But we were offered a cuppa and had a lovely chat. Sadly we didn't go for the fishing as could only carry a certain amount of items. But, from the field we were pitched up in, looking over the lake it looked beautiful. Our field was ideal for a one night camp, nicely kept, no rocks, trees to camp under, and the best thing was the toilet. Looked like Britain's worst toilet from the outside -an old caravan, but on the inside, as my pics show, it was very unique. Only 4 star rating as there was no shower, bit hey ho, that's what we brought the wet wipes for. The site did say there's no showers, so we were prepared. If you're​ in a caravan, this would be the perfect place for a few nights, in our case, a ideal pit stop

Visited mill farm fishery with my two daughters, nice to visit a place where natural flies do the job. Very friendly staff andrea, linda and barbara. Very reasonable prices. We all caught fish, my daughter Amie catching 6lb and the smallest at 2.5lb. Very clean and tidy place, good tackle shop onsite. Wonderful day out enjoyed by all! Thank you

Good produce at good prices. Normal Lidl problem of long wait for the tills. Not the worse I have been to.

Small Lidl that has a more limited range than some. Car park often full as there's not many spaces. But, it does what it says on the tin - cheap and good quality stuff.
